I decided to visit the webpage of a ski mountain that we want to visit. I found out that if I purchase lift tickets in advance (more than 24 hrs before arrival) and online I could save money. They were offering 2-for-1 adult lift tickets for midweek (Mon-Thurs). Normally the tickets are $59 each but I was able to purchase two adult tickets for $59. I bought 3 days worth – a savings of $177. I also signed up both of my children for ski lessons. By booking them online I saved $10 off each lesson. MY total savings was $197. This savings will pay for my rental gear. What a great New Years Eve I had.

My saving tip to you is visit the webpages or even the town where you are travelling to. There may be discounts or specials that you will not get if you wait until you arrive.

I was trying to find another gift to give my parents for Christmas. My father has only the use of one arm and is either stuck in a special bed or a special power-chair. My mom takes care of him 34/7. Miranda received the “memory game” and Nick received “cootie”. All this was free. I was told to come back on Tuesday to pick up my pictures and they would be free too. I am so glad I tried a new place – in doing so I discovered a really nice family restaurant that I will probably frequent myself. We stayed for dinner. It was awesome.
